Girl group NewJeans won the Special Achievement Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards on Wednesday.
The Japan Record Awards, organized by the Japan Composer’s Association, has been held annually since 1959.
This year’s event will take place at the New National Theatre Tokyo on Dec. 30. It will be broadcast live on Japanese broadcasting channel TBS.
