Canadian rock legend Bryan Adams will return to Coventry for the first time in 18 years as part of his So Happy it Hurts tour.
The singer-songwriter, whose hits have included (Everything I Do) I Do It for You and Summer of ’69, will perform at the Coventry Building Society Arena on 17 May 2024.
The date will come after a three-night residency at the Royal Albert Hall, London.
The 63-year-old Grammy Award winner will also perform in Sheffield on 18 May and Cardiff the following day.
Adams’ last performance at the Coventry Building Society Arena was in 2005, the first concert hosted by the venue, according to the venue’s managing director Paul Michael.
The rockstar had “played a huge part in the history” of the venue, he added, and “to this day we still have a bar named after Bryan”.
