Lee Chae Yeon recently opened up during an interview in Seoul about her sentiments concerning her upcoming album release for ‘The Move: Street’. This marks Lee Chae Yeon’s first comeback in four months since her second mini-album ‘Over The Moon’ featured the hit title track “KNOCK” in April.
Reflecting on her previous performances, Lee Chae Yeon admitted, “I particularly loved the performance during ‘Knock’, and I felt it was important to at least maintain that standard. However, my intention is to exceed that and present my audience with an enhanced image.” She further talked about the latest project, stating, “This time, instead of a dramatic change, I focused on upgrading my performance while subtly incorporating the addictive melody. I aimed to design a stage that would beautifully align with my signature musical style.”
Recognized for her performance skills, Lee Chae Yeon added, “Dancing is my forte, and I am still passionate about it. I have yet to develop an equivalent desire for singing. I think I would be appreciative if eventually, my songs also began to resonate with the same enthusiasm. I am entirely committed to continuing my practice sessions and discovering the kernel of my abilities.”
However, she also voiced her concerns, admitting, “I’m confident about my dancing, but when it comes to singing, I sometimes struggle with self-doubt.”
