Deadline broke the news that UTA dropped the Oscar-winning actress following the following comments made at a rally: “There are a lot of people that are afraid, that…
The audience at Ed Sheeran’s concert in Detroit on Saturday lost themselves in the music when Eminem showed up for a surprise hometown performance. In videos posted to Sheeran’s Instagram page on Sunday, the singer keeps the surprise close to the chest by telling his audience he wanted to perform a “cover” of an Eminem song. As Sheeran strums his acoustic guitar while singing his rendition of the iconic opening lines of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” the rapper is seen stepping on the stage to join in on the second verse as the crowd cheered. “Detroit. What a moment,” Sheeran wrote in the caption. In…
Forty percent of all K-pop albums sold during the first half of 2023 were by six acts from HYBE — BTS’s Jimin, Seventeen, Tomorrow X Together, Enhypen, Le Sserafim and NewJeans. From January to June this year, K-pop artists sold 55 million copies, according to music sales tracker Circle Chart. Of these, 40.4 percent, or 22 million, were sold by six of HYBE’s artists, the K-pop company said. The six teams are each signed to individual music labels that are owned by HYBE. Jimin’s band BTS and Tomorrow X Together are managed by BigHit Music, Seventeen by Pledis Entertainment, Enhypen by Belift…
Kim Kardashian is ready to move on from her split from Pete Davidson — and someone has already caught her attention. Kardashian, 42, recently appeared on Hailey Bieber’s “Who’s In My Bathroom” YouTube series, which dropped on Wednesday, June 21. While the two women made ice cream sundaes in the bathroom, the Kardashians star was asked if she has a current celebrity crush in a game of “Truth or Shot.” “I almost want to take a drink because I kinda want it to come true,” the Skims mogul quipped to Bieber, 26, before noting that the mystery man doesn’t know about her feelings. “I’m more into privacy these days.” Instead of name-dropping the man…
Emma Watson likely wasn’t expecting to be at the center of the latest viral dress discourse when she posted an Instagram photo of herself wearing a sky-blue Loewe number on Monday, but many Internet commenters seemed nearly as confused by the gravity-defying silhouette as they were by the infamous white-and-gold (or black-and-blue) dress eight years ago. In the image, the asymmetrical mini-dress appears to be floating on Watson’s body, with its neckline — both sharply-pointed and loosely-draped — in particular hovering without any visible means of support. (Watson is otherwise posing alongside her brother Alex, who is clutching a bottle of Renais gin, a…
MINNEAPOLIS — It’s perhaps the busiest weekend in Minneapolis since before the COVID-19 pandemic, and the city’s leaders are confident they have a plan. More than 500,000 people are expected to descend on the city this weekend, as megastar Taylor Swift hosts two sold-out shows at U.S. Bank Stadium at the same time the city hosts its annual Pride weekend. “Our city is prepared,” said Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, in a pun-filled press conference where he referenced 13 of Swift’s songs. “Our visitors and guests are ready for it. This is going to be anything but a cruel summer.” Frey then…

Ireland Baldwin is a new mom. The 27-year-old model announced on social media that she and her boyfriend, Portuguese musician Rac, recently welcomed a baby girl they named Holland. She explained that baby’s name during an interview on the “Girlboss Radio” podcast in January. “We’re naming her Holland,” she said. “I’m Ireland, so another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent.” Baldwin is the daughter of actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger. In April, the elder Baldwin turned 65 and his current wife, Hilaria, celebrated by posting a photo of them and their seven children, who are all under the age of ten.…
CANNES, France (AP) — Just a year ago, the image of Johnny Depp smiling and waving atop the Palais steps at the Cannes Film Festival would have been unthinkable to most — including to Depp, himself. “When you hit the bottom, you hit the bottom, you hit the bottom, then you find the basement to the bottom,” Depp told The Associated Press the day after “Jeanne du Barry,” in which he stars as King Louis XV, opened Cannes. This time last year, Depp was immersed in a libel trial he brought against Amber Heard, his ex-wife, based on a 2018 Washington…
Country music singer Jimmie Allen is “publicly” apologizing to his estranged pregnant wife for “humiliating her with my affair” after his former manager sued him for alleged sexual abuse.
